DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER EDUCATION AND INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGIES
Computer Education and Instructional Technology (CEIT) departments were first introduced in 1998 by YÖK during renovation of Faculties of Education.
Our Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies was formed in 2006 and started to accept students with 2016-2017 Academic year. As of today, our department consists of two associate professor, two assistant professor, two research assistant.
Vision
Our goal is to prepare our future teachers with the necessary technological knowledge and methods so they can improve the lives of individuals and advance our society in a changing, global world through the use of information technologies.
Mission
♦ To provide, research and facilitate the necessary technics and methods or the proper usage of computer and other educational technologies for educational facilities.
♦ To prepare Information and Computer Technology teachers to be employed by Ministry of National Education (M.E.B.) and provide them with essential knowledge and abilities of their profession; and to introduce them to the technological education environments.
♦ To prepare computer professionals whom are competent in creation, development , application and evaluation of educational softwares.
